Unlock a Domain for Transfer

Transferring a domain away from NameBright, or viewing its auth code, both start with the same step: turning off the domain's transfer lock.

  1. Log in to your NameBright account.

  2. Go to Domain Manager and select the domain.

  3. On the Domain Overview page, find the Domain Lock section.

  4. Select Manage Domain Lock .

  5. Switch the lock to Off .

Unlock Domains in Bulk

To unlock multiple domains at once, go to Domain Manager , switch to Advanced view, and select the domains you want to unlock. Once at least one is selected, the bulk action buttons above the domain table become active. Select the Domain Lock bulk action button, then edit the setting the same way you would for a single domain. Save your changes. NameBright applies the update to every domain you selected.

Unlock Domains in a Category

To unlock every domain in a category at once, go to My Categories , select the category, open Category Settings , and enable Domain Lock as a category setting, then follow the steps above.
